Bask on Balm Beach
If you're looking for a calm beach that isn't an excruciatingly far drive from the city, this is the place for you. Though Balm Beach isn't big, it has everything you need for the perfect summer day. I suggest getting there early as it starts to get more crowded later in the day. Grab a quick bite from the Georgian Grill - I definitely recommend the burger, fries and onion rings. If you do decide to stay the night, Balm Beach Resort Resort is located steps away from the beach but be sure to reserve ahead of time. You can also find a convenience store, a restaurant and a shop selling water flotation devices.
